About Fine Art Posters

WALL ART AND WHY WE HANG IT

Why do we like a picture and would we hang it on a wall? Well that is a something different for everyone. Over the years my taste has changed and I no longer want just a decoration, I want something that I can relate to when I look at it. Consequently what is on my wall have a memory attached, such as my grandmothers nursing diploma alongside a photo of her, the year, 1900. I have other relics from my past on the walls as well.

But mostly I have photographs I have taken that are both beautiful and memorable. It is in this vein that I have started Fine Art Re-Defined.

Fine Art Re-Defined combines two different genres, one being my view of the world around me and the second being the 1960′s poster. By combining the two we now have a work of art that tells two stories, the scene and the location. If you prefer the more traditional format then these same images may be found at our travel photo sites (links on our sidebar)

Where we differ from traditional poster art is all of our prints are highest quality prints with archival inks and each one is of a limited run, hand signed and numbered.

Our preference in displaying the art is a simple gallery poster frame, but that is something the client should decide on their own.

All of our work is limited run archival photo prints printed on the best medium available and highest resolution possible for the individual work. Each print is then signed and numbered by the artist. Prints are made to order.

Prints are unframed as the artist feels framing for this style of work is the basic poster frame, but individual galleries and buyers may desire a more traditional matted and framed presentation.
